Everyone on Facebook is doing this and I really wanted to, but no one tagged me, so I'm taking it upon myself to just do it anyway haha. Too bad I don't have 25 friends on blogger, but oh well. I'll tag who I know. :)
1. I'm probably the biggest college football fan you'll ever meet. (unless you meet my sister, then you'll know the TWO biggest college football fans)
2. I am a scorekeeper for Provo City basketball during the school year and I absolutely ADORE my job. It's pretty good pay for just watching basketball games for hours and I meet the coolest, funnest, most interesting people. I have made a ton of friends through that job, high school kids, adults, and college students alike.
3. I haven't had my hair longer than past my shoulders since Fall of 2005 when I chopped off 10" and donated it to charity.
4. Every time I try to grow out my hair to be able to donate it, I can't. I get too impatient and I cut it short again. Really short.
5. I've been snowboarding for 6 years, but I only recently got way into it because of a class I took through BYU three seasons ago. I'm obsessed. And it makes me MUCH happier during winter semester, when typically, people get more depressed....for that, I am grateful.
6. One of my major pet peeves is incorrect grammar and spelling, no matter where it is. Which is why when I text, I spell everything out, unless it doesn't fit. Then I'll delete it, or adjust to fit accordingly.
7. I am obsessed with music. I am always looking for new stuff that isn't very well known. Music explains my life and my feelings, it's the easiest way for me to escape from the world, or to think about life.
8. Most people know that I am a political science major, but most don't know that I knew what I wanted to major in when I was a junior in high school. I declared it when I applied and I haven't gone back once.
9. I'm still trying to figure out my life, my personality, my likes and dislikes. I don't think I'll ever get it right, but I try really hard every day to be conscious of what I do and what makes me happy so I can be happy all the time...it's worked for a week so far :)
10. I'm currently taking an astronomy class at BYU and i LOVE it. I've always had an obsession with the stars and now I can understand it better and learn more about the thing I love the most.
11. I have a lot of obsessions. Not in a creepy stalker way (sometimes) but in a way that I will do whatever it takes to get what I want. It's worked out a lot in the past.
12. I care deeply for the people I am close with. I think it's the oldest sibling syndrome--I have a tendency to act like a mom, to offer help or food when someone is sick, or needs someone to talk to. Which means my loyalties run deep and can only be severed if you've really really betrayed me.
13. I am always right. Or at least I like to be right. Only when I am actually PROVEN wrong will I admit defeat. I am extremely stubborn and relentless.
14. Some of my favorite memories include laying out on driveways, the beach, the grass, watching the stars. Like I said, I'm obsessed with them and think they are absolutely beautiful.
15. I didn't use to cry very much unless I was really upset. Now it comes more easily, but it still takes a lot for someone to make me cry. If you have made me cry, it means I care a lot about you, what you think of me, and I take personally the things you say to me. Movies will always make me cry, hands down (as long as they're sad, or sweet, or romantic)
16. I'm taking 5 dance classes this semester and my body has never been so continuously sore before. (Jazz technique 2, latin ballroom, country western, modern, ballet)
17. I can't wait to find that guy that's just perfect for me, that loves me as much or more than I love him. I'm still waiting for that, and I don't think it will happen while I'm still in Provo, despite what people say about it.
18. I miss the east coast equally as much as I miss California. Moving there this summer was one of the best adventures I've had.
19. Having 8 or so years of dance experience, I tend to stand in 5th position when I'm just talking to someone. I don't intentionally do it, it just happens.
20. I have a weakness for guys that can dance well (and no, it doesn't have to be my genre of dance, I typically prefer contemporary, latin ballroom, or hip hop)
21. I absolutely love the 4 seasons in Utah...fall is my favorite. The colors in the canyon are GORGEOUS, and it helps that it's my birthday, football season and Halloween all at the same time.
22. I've been to more concerts than I can count. If I found all my ticket stubs, I could tell you, but I know it's more than 15. With that, I've seen many, many bands live, and nothing beats seeing your favorite band singing your favorite songs just feet from where you are standing.
23. I try to be artistic in photography, design, etc, but I really don't think I'm very good at it. There are a few pictures I am extremely proud of, but there aren't many.
24. I'm slowly learning how to longboard. I'm not very good at it. But I do have my own board, which is convenient. I just have to get comfortable in riding it.
25. I graduate from college in August. But I'll hopefully walk in April. Once I'm done, I don't know what I'm doing, but I know for sure that I'm moving back to California to be with my loves. And I can't wait!
