and no, i am not talking about the movie about the talking dogs and cat, trying to find their way home.
i'm talking about me, stella (my 2001 jetta), and the road for 10 hours, on our way HOME! to CALIFORNIA! where the sun is shining, and it is not anywhere NEAR freezing temps!
i sure can't wait for this week off from work (unpaid, which is kind of the downside) to spend with my lovely family and good friends. plus, vanessa v returns from brazil! brittany and corbin get married! and provo boys come out to visit! i'm thinking this will be the best christmas break ever!
i'll keep ya'll updated on how it's going.
until then, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!
{p.s. saw mission impossible: ghost protocol last night. wasn't thrilled about seeing it (tom cruise isn't my favorite person as of late) but went because it was my last night in town and i wanted to hang out with tron, and he wanted to see it (plus he paid! double bonus!) and let me say: AWE.SOME. i forget how much i love the MI movie series. so much action, so intense! craziness ensues. tron and i definitely were on the edges of our seats the whole movie, our stress level increased, and we walked out of there wanting to do something totally WICKED. needless to say, that didn't happen, but the thought was there. so, if you're looking for a good movie to see, see this one. and the best part is, there was only one (okay two, but the first was in Russian) swear word! no nudity, no sex. the kind of movie you could take your 12 year olds to. plus, it's got comedic relief in the form of Simon Pegg (Star Trek's Scotty)}
