remember when...

friday nights used to mean staying out late (or at people's apartments til 1:30)?

sleeping in used to mean noon or later?

i didn't have to wake up before 9 during the week?

i actually had a social life and did stuff with friends rather than just sit around talking/watching tv/movies?

i didn't used to get tired by 8 pm?

oh the good ol' days. i sure do miss them at times. here it is, 11:30 on a friday night and what am i doing? blogging. and getting ready for bed. if it was acceptable, i probably would have been in bed by 9, rather than stay up to this hour watching the first part of the 7th harry potter again.

but alas, only grandparents and weirdos go to bed that early, so i resigned myself to staying up and "socializing" with judy (if you can call random mumblings from my pillow about the positives and negatives of the harry potter movie franchise compared to the books, socializing)

i promise i'll be more exciting...next week.

oh wait, lies. i'm working softball next friday. so, i guess i'll be social once rodeo season starts. fair enough?

can't wait to see me some cowboys. mmmm...
