plusses and minuses

(+) starting a new job (with better pay!)
(-) starting a new job (scary! nervewracking!)
(+) being able to eventually move to salt lake
(-) leaving all my provo friends and memories behind
(+) leaving work early today
(-) getting stuck in rush hour traffic, being late to softball and cursing my job for making me make a 2 hour commute home
(+) nice weather for softball tonight!
(-) having teams that decided they wanted to use up all the time allotted to them, PLUS more, so that i was the last to leave tonight.
(+) having the field crew out there tonight to prep for tomorrow's tourney.
(and having one of them be oh so attractive!)

(++) "so, which guys are you looking at out there??"
"i can't even see their faces!"
"who do you want me to introduce you to?"
"(in my head) yourself. (out loud) they're all too small to see which one is attractive! and who's to say i don't have a boyfriend at home waiting for me?? do i look that lonely??"
"who cares. we might have wives at home, but we're still looking. so, do you have a boyfriend waiting for you at home?"
"no. i am utterly single"
"see? so which ones you want us to introduce you to?"

hahahaha. oh i love these guys. seriously, i wish they were around more often.
work was okay today. a LOT of information to try to absorb in one day. hopefully i'll get it sooner rather than later.
and HOPEFULLY i find a great apartment so i don't have to keep making this commute.
the drive up wasn't bad. left by 8, got there by 8:45. so i could potentially leave later and still make it on time.
the drive back? horrendous. i mean, i know LA traffic, and that is bad, but this was terrible. it literally took me 30 minutes to get from salt lake to sandy. and i only got up to the speed limit for about half a mile before it slowed down again.
i was totally late to softball this afternoon. major bummer. the freeway was so bad, i ended up getting off in AF to take state street all the way back to provo. never.again.
