as most people know, i commute to and from work every day: provo to salt lake. 45 miles each way. 90 round trip. not only is that a lot of gas, it's also a lot of hours in the car, on the road, and a lot of cars/drivers to deal with.
most mornings are pretty chill. i leave around 7:45, make it on the freeway by 8 and cruise into work around 8:30. not bad. afternoons are a whole other story, which i don't need to get into right now.
this morning was seriously the exception. it took me a good half hour to get from bangerter highway (draper) to sandy. normally a 10-15 minute drive. and there was no accident to be seen! just plain ol' slow drivers, who do not know how to handle merging lanes.
i guess it's about time that i move out of utah county and cut my commute down to 10 minutes, huh?
anyone know of any reasonably priced apartments in salt lake?

ReplyDeleteI have a similar commute... about 45 minutes in and an hour to get home... my tip till you move closer is AM radio and podcasts... the actual talk makes you pay a bit less attention to the traffic, but still be safe and the intelligent conversation/ learning you'll do helps you remember you're not one of the stupid drivers out there.
