i love sundays.
so relaxing.
so beautiful.
i had a thoroughly enjoyable sabbath: both in church and out of church.
but i especially enjoyed picnicking with my closest friends.
sure, the sun wasn't all that apparent, but it was a nice day nonetheless.
i felt like a kid again: wearing a pretty sundress and sandals, sitting on blankets laid on the grass, swinging, jungle gyming, blowing bubbles, playing catch and bocce ball, listening to 90s music from a boom box, cartwheeling down the hill and chatting.
oh to be young(er) again.
i can't wait til the weather cooperates and gives us a full day of sunshine and warm temperatures.
the other days of my weekend weren't too terrible either. i worked softball friday night (typical) and then woke up EARLY saturday (like, 7:30 early!) to go check out the sales at old navy and then pick up donuts before heading to the temple for some baptisms. there's nothing like being productive on a saturday morning! afterwards, sarah and i headed to the mall and then picked up slurpees before heading home again. then: hannah's grad party (and delish mexican food-dinner #1), ward closing social (at an awesome house with delish pizza-dinner #2) and finally, Kenady's India going-away party with delicious indian curry and fruit sorbets (dinner #3). oh and then a 90s dance party where we WERE the party. i surely love my friends. and summertime. please never go away? kthanks.
