being a graduate of political science, i believe that i have a greater understanding of politics and the inner workings of politicians than the general population. i care a little bit more about who our leaders are because frankly, i put effort into voting the right person into office.
so it frustrates me when people like jerry brown are re-elected as governor of california just because people are sick of the republicans. granted, schwarzenegger did not do the best job of running the state these last few years, but that does not mean you go running to the other side and choose someone who was VOTED OUT previously, just so that you don't have to see another republican in office. meg whitman would have done what was needed to get california out of its economic slump. jerry brown will just spend our tax dollars to provide for non-citizens, aka illegal immigrants, to get health care, schooling, etc. how is that fair?
so next time you go to the polls, do your research. study history (whoever said history is lame--well, look at what you can learn from it) and make an educated decision about who to vote into office. good luck california, these next four years. you're going to need it.
good job californians for making the wrong decision because of your lack of education and knowledge into politics (i blame that on the illegal immigrants population that is slowly becoming the majority in california).
{disclaimer: if this is harsh or offensive, i apologize. politics really gets me worked up. i strongly dislike people that vote without knowing what they are voting for. if you don't understand, then don't vote. easy as that. just don't complain when something doesn't work out. in order to earn the right to complain about government, you need to vote. and in order to vote, you need to be knowledgeable.}
