so i have this really bad (or good, in some cases, i suppose) habit of facebook stalking.
i'm pro.
i should make it a career. really.
(doesn't help that i work at a PI firm and that's basically what we girls in the office do most days...but i can't use that as an excuse because i've been doing this for YEARS).
i learn SO MANY THINGS through my stalking.
usually it's just friends.
"true friends stalk"
a lot of the time it's people that i know OF, but have never met.
sometimes there is the rare occasion that i'll stalk girls that are friends of my guy friends. a newly added friend, someone that's written on their wall, whatever.
what's even worse is that when i do that, i am SUPER thorough. (maybe i shouldn't admit all of this...)
anyway, there are those people that have some weird facebook profile pic that i can't see details, so of course, i'll stalk their pics. and THEN i proceed to say to myself, oh don't worry kayla, you're much cuter than they are.
what the WHAT?! who AM i??
i shouldn't judge a girl by her looks. i'm sure she's a great person. probably nicer, smarter, more spiritual than i am.
yeah yeah, i know i'm shallow, but i didn't think it was THAT bad! i need to stop though.
{not stop stalking, of course, i find out valuable information that way!} but i need to stop judging girls (and guys) this way. I need to start thinking about what i can do to improve myself, to be a better friend and a better citizen instead. hopefully being back in provo will cure me of this terrible habit.
